The sea in July
It is the first day of July. Sofia is five years and today goes to the sea for the first time in her life. The car is full of bags, towels and a big beach umbrella blue. Sofia looks outside from the window and sings a song. Also the brother Marco comes with them.
They arrive at the beach around the ten in the morning. The sun is already strong and the sky is blue. The father opens the beach umbrella blue near to the sea. The mother puts the cream sun on the arms of Sofia. The sand is hot under the feet. Sofia runs immediately toward the water.

The sea is cold at the start. Sofia laughs and has a bit of fear. She holds tight the hand of the father. The waves are small and white. After ten minutes, not has anymore fear. She jumps and plays with a small bucket red. The father her watches and smiles happy. Also Marco enters in water.
At lunch they eat sandwiches under the beach umbrella. Sofia finds a shell white on the sand and it puts in pocket. In the afternoon she sleeps a little on the sand warm. In the evening, in the car on the road of home, Sofia asks to the mother if they can return to the sea tomorrow. The mother smiles and says yes. It was been a day beautiful.
